Is OnceWide a subscription?
No. The plan for version 1.0 is a single, low-cost App Store purchase with no recurring payment.
Does OnceWide add a watermark?
No. Exports are clean and retain the recording's audio.
Does my video leave my iPhone?
OnceWide performs its core detection, tracking, reframing and export processing on your iPhone. It does not upload your recordings to a OnceWide server.
What can OnceWide track?
Version 1.0 is designed primarily to follow one clearly visible person. It is not yet an arbitrary object, pet or ball tracker.
Which formats does it create?
OnceWide exports 9:16 vertical, 16:9 landscape, 4:5 portrait and 1:1 square video.
Is OnceWide an editor?
No. It deliberately avoids timelines, filters, templates and other editing complexity. The workflow is record, process, choose and export.
Which devices will be supported?
The initial release is planned for compatible iPhones running iOS 18 or later.
